Pink Panther
We met Nevise Borg Caligari and her husband Pierre, in August 2009, during the filming of one of the features of Pink Panther’s “Breed Corner” -- a weekly TV program aired on ONE TV Â and presented by Nevise herself.
The in-containable reaction of Nevise when she saw Mr Bojangles will never be forgotten and our first encounter resulted in the feature that you can see hereunder.
One day Nevise came up with the suggestion of having our ragdolls as the resident pets of the Pink Panther show together with Mose and Jimmy (two poodles). Â The joy was immense… the answer came out in automatic.
However what Nevise didn’t know was the ragdolls are like viruses… once you get in touch with them you get positively infected… and that’s what happened!  It was after the recording of a special combined program Pink Panther -- On d Road, to kick off the Charity Bike Ride 2009 in aid of the abandoned animals, that Nevise and Pierre, amongst the celebration of the numerous present bikers adopted Fishbone Crazy Diamond, today known as “Magic”.
From the charity ride Pink Panther & On d Road collected the record sum of nearly 14,000 Euros that were distributed to animal sanctuaries to be redeemed in food, litter and other necessities.
Pink Panther was also nominated as Best Variety Program for the Malta TV Awards organised by the Malta Broadcasting Authority.
Pink Panther is aired every Wednesday at 5pm, Sunday at 1pm and Monday at 5pm!
